Poetry 365

I’ve had a lot of fun this month with Reader Submissions (even if I had a few missed/made up days; these things happen). I’ve read some REALLY incredible poetry. Unfortunately I won’t be able to post it all this month. I will be saving it for my next batch of reader submission posts.

Those of you wondering if I’m still taking submissions, technically the answer is “no.” I can’t stop you from emailing me, honestly, but I won’t be posting any more after the 31st (Tuesday).

I have been debating starting a literary magazine but I would definitely need funding (and probably an assistant). I could try to start up through KickStarter, but I don’t know if they would even accept it—there are so many literary magazines in existence as it is and based on my somewhat informal survey, many aren’t/wouldn’t subscribe to a magazine and certainly wouldn’t pay for online content (totally understandable). I’m going to keep tossing ideas around as to how I can honor more of the great writers and poems I see. If any of you have a suggestion, feel free to email it to me.
